KAWAII KAIRI

Please Click all Preview thumbnails to see the actual page! This was my first Hi-Techy layout. I used iframe and javascript to the max to put this entire thing together. As well as some kick ass imaging! It's my first themed layout. This layout was created for a wintery theme. So snow was apparent.

Shown to your left is the splash page made for Kawaii Kairi. This is by far my most favourite splash page. I absolutely love it. A Splash page should make the person enter the site and this page, definitely does that!
There is nothin simple abou this page. Javascripting adds beautiful blue snowflakes drifting down the page, and beautiful imaging builds a title with snow on it. And below is a poem... (written by me) with Kairi in the background in winter gear. I really love this splash page!! Just click the picture on your right to see what I'm talking about.

I used tables, and the iframe to make this layout.
I call it the "Portrait Table-Frame Layout". For obvious reasons.

The background is just blue. It adds atmosphere to the rest of the page.

The links are the best, because they can be found in the form of a toolbar. Heavy Javascript used here for dynamic toolbar. Easy navigation and pretty to look at! I'm really happy with how that came out.

Then some major iframe tags, create the main body picture with white snowflakes falling. And below that is another frame that will hold all content.

The layout also offers, large amount of space for text which is great (I hate those frames that have this itty bitty space). Also the scroll bar was customized with colors so it looks like part of the layout. I'm really happy with how things turned out. Because there was a limited amount of graphics available to me, due to the theme and then finding stuff that fit with the theme was hard. But I was really glad to find that BRRRR font, that makes things look snowy. I think that really makes the layout nice.

I also created large page banners for Kawaii Kairi. I thought I would throw that in there ^_^
